CCS plays a crucial role in facilitation international trade by ensuring that goods move smoothly across borders while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
CCS assist in preparing and submitting the necessary documentation required for customs clearance, such as customs declarations, commercial invoice, licenses or permits, certificate of origin etc.
CCS would liaise with customs authorities on behalf of their clients to ensure that goods are cleared through customs smoothly. This involves verifying documentation, paying applicable duties and taxes, and resolving any issues that may arise during clearance process.
CCS could help classify goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) codes, determining the applicable customs duties & taxes.
CCS would ensure that import and export activities comply with all relevant regulation, including trade laws, import/export restrictions, and sanctions.
CCS would provide advice and guidance to clients on customs compliance, import/export regulations, and trade documentation.
CCS could be a consultant for post clearance activities i.e. customs post audit, protest, appeal, duty refund, compensation refund etc.
